Case study - Shop Countdown
SEO MIgration
Shop Countdown is one of the largest eCommerces websites in New Zealand. During 2019 Countdown underwent a change in to the department naming and product location within the online shopping website.
My responsibility in this project was to organise the migration from the SEO perspective with the following tasks:
- Benchmark all relevant metrics.
- Generate the 301 redirects.
- Monitor the migration and report accordingly.
The challenge in this project was the fact that the logic used to organise a physical supermarket is not the same as the online shop, so we had to meet in the middle in terms of requirements for both the business and SEO. For me the most challenging task was organising the migration process by merging circa 6000 categories/aisles into 600 without a negative impact in SEO.
After several months of preparations the migration was a complete success. There was no negative impact in organic rankings nor in organic traffic.

Case study - Panaderia Tio Gerardo
SEO work done
Tio Gerardo was a local baker in my home city Mar del Plata, who needed to boost sales of catering services and more importantly perniles (ham haunch). This client had a small budget for digital endeavours, so the strategy was to go for the lowest hanging fruit, taking advantage of the precarious situation of the competition.
All work was on page optimization focusing on Meta Titles, copy optimization via redefining value proposition and image optimization.
